So last Saturday was an all around bad day. Nothing was working out right, me and Ronny had been arguing all day, I had a wedding to shoot at 6:30pm and I had nothing to wear. Just wasn’t working for me, I was stressed because of the wedding (I’ve done them before, but I’m always nervous…what if they don’t like my shots? Just general worries…) and everything else piled on top of that was the perfect concoction for a bad day.
So I finished with the wedding (went well, btw) and I started driving home. It started POURING. Not just raining, but “you-can’t-see-to-drive” rain. All I could think was “Great, what else can you throw at me God?” (Never a good idea to really ask God that, by the way
). Then it hit me…I can either keep on having a bad day…or I can turn it around.
So I finally got home and was waiting for Ronny to come back and I told him to hurry before it stops raining. He got there and then all I told him was to roll up his pants legs and take his socks and shoes off. Lol, he thought I was mad. Then I short of forced him to play in the rain with me. I haven’t played in the rain in years…and I don’t know why. It was always fun to me and always put me in a better mood.
One point I need to make: I LOVE the fact that scarfs are back. They definitely hide frizzy wet hair when you go eat dinner, lol.
(The only picture I really took. I was afraid to have my camera out in the rain. Here I was waiting on Ronny.)
